Candle Making with Nicole Farrell

May 8th, 4-7pm

Joy and Wylde invites you to an evening of scent, craft, and quiet beauty.

Join Nicole Farrell, founder of Marble Candle Company, for a hands-on candle making workshop shaped by intention and care. Nicole’s work is rooted in the belief that small, everyday rituals can offer comfort, presence, and light.

Her journey into candle making began as she explored natural soaps, candles, and aromatherapy to support her young son during his cancer treatment—seeking the most gentle, organic materials to bring him comfort through a difficult time. That beginning continues to inform her practice today: one grounded in purity, thoughtfulness, and meaning.

In this intimate 3-hour experience, Nicole will guide you through the candle-making process, from selecting materials to blending your own custom fragrance using essential oils and fragrance oils. You’ll pour and finish two candles, each one a reflection of your own sensibility.

Designed as an early Mother’s Day gathering, the evening offers space to create, connect, and mark the season in a thoughtful way.

Your experience includes one cocktail or glass of wine and a curated charcuterie spread.

You’ll leave with:
– Two hand-poured candles
– A custom scent blend
– A deeper understanding of the craft

Limited seating.

Our products are sourced from talented artists and builders from around the region.

We pack and ship with care from Colorado. Orders go out within 3–5 business days via standard USPS.

Meet the artist

Nicole Farrell

Nicole Farrell is the founder of Marble Candle Company, a Colorado-based, family-run studio creating small-batch candles using natural soy wax.

She began her work while caring for her young son during his cancer treatment, turning to candle making and aromatherapy as a way to offer comfort. After the loss of her son, Colton, in 2023, Nicole and her family have continued the work with the same intention at its core.

Today, Marble Candle Company remains rooted in care, craftsmanship, and purpose. A portion of all candle sales is donated to support childhood cancer in Colton’s memory, carrying forward a legacy of light, generosity, and quiet resilience.

Nicole’s teaching reflects this spirit—inviting others into a process that is both creative and deeply grounding.
